The device (100) comprises a main column (101), a handle member (102), a ground-contacting tip (103), a seat plate member (104), foldable leg members (105), a leg deployment ring (106), deployment linkages (107), and a locking mechanism (108). Movement of the leg deployment ring (106) causes simultaneous deployment or folding of the seat plate member (104) and foldable leg members (105), enabling quick conversion between walking and seating configurations without disassembly. The device may further include anti-sink base members (109), an over-centre locking strut (110), and a storage pocket (111). The invention provides improved mobility assistance, user comfort, stability, portability, and safety in a compact and user-friendly structure suitable for elderly, rehabilitation, and mobility-impaired users.
