Inventors include Dr. Pushpa Ruwali; Dr. Disha Mehta; Dr. Divya Sharma; Dr. Palak Sharma; Dr. Omnarayan Agrawal; Dr. Achala Dwivedi; Dr. Shweta Gehlout; Dr. Elipe Arjun; Dr. Priyanka Singh; and Dr. Ashita Anand.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The invention provides a multiplex enzyme kinetic biosensor system for analysis of a biological stain using a plurality of source-related enzymatic assay regions and a plurality of age-sensitive enzymatic assay regions. A signal acquisition arrangement acquires source-related activity signals and time-dependent enzymatic degradation signals from the stain. An analysis arrangement determines a source class from the source-related activity signals and uses the determined source class to select or condition a kinetic calibration relationship for interpretation of the age-sensitive signals. A reference assay region may provide a reference signal for normalization of an age-sensitive response. The system thereby generates a source-conditioned kinetic feature set from the same biological stain and produces a time-since-deposition estimate together with the source classification.
