MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631093764 A) filed by Ipfc-Giet University Cell on August 03, 2026, for Multimodal Neurophysiological And Biochemical Monitoring System.

Inventors include Kolla Venkata Atchuta Rao; Pushpavalli Rokkala; Nitesh Kumar Khatarkar; and Dr. Avnl Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT MULTIMODAL NEUROPHYSIOLOGICAL AND BIOCHEMICAL MONITORING SYSTEM 5 10 15 A multimodal neurophysiological and biochemical monitoring system illustrated in Fig. 2, comprises synchronized electroencephalography (EEG), electrocardiography (ECG), photoplethysmography (PPG), and electrochemical neuro-biomarker sensor modules. The electrochemical module utilizes a surface-engineered, disposable screen-printed electrode strip to detect cellular-level injury, metabolic stress, and inflammatory biomarkers. A communicably coupled multimodal data fusion and artificial intelligence engine processes these heterogeneous data streams in real time. By analyzing temporal relationships and cross-system correlations, the system computes predictive neurological risk indices to forecast early neurological deterioration, enabling proactive clinical intervention at the point of care.
