Abstract: ABSTRACT MULTILINGUAL AI SYSTEM FOR CROP DISEASE DETECTION AND AGRICULTURAL DECISION SUPPORT The present invention discloses a multilingual AI-powered agricultural decision support system (100) that detects crop diseases from leaf images and provides comprehensive farmer assistance. The system (100) employs crop-specific deep learning models including a ResNet18 classification model (132) and an EfficientNet-B0 classification model (134) trained on a multi-crop dataset of over 28,000 images covering 27 classes across six crop types to generate confidence-based disease predictions. An AI recommendation module (140) generates disease analysis, fertilizer recommendations, pesticide suggestions, and preventive measures, all translated into the farmer's preferred regional language through a multilingual translation engine (146). The system (100) further integrates weather intelligence (150), market information (160), and government scheme assistance (170) within a unified mobile platform, eliminating dependence on manual expert consultation and providing accessible agricultural advisory services.
