Abstract: A multilayer ceramic capacitor 1 includes a multilayer body 2, and an outer electrode 3. The multilayer body 2 includes an inner layer part 6, and an outer layer part 7A. The inner layer part 6 includes a dielectric layer 4 and an inner electrode layer 5 that are stacked in a stacking direction T. The outer layer part 7A is disposed on opposite sides of the inner layer part 6 in the stacking direction T. The outer electrode 3 is disposed on each of two end faces, and connected to the inner electrode layer 5. The inner layer part 6 has, at an end portion in the stacking direction T, a dimension L1 in the longitudinal direction L. The inner layer part 6 has, at a central portion in the stacking direction T, a dimension L2 in the longitudinal direction L. The dimension L1 is greater than the dimension L2. The outer layer part 7A includes an outer-layer projection 71 that projects beyond the inner layer part 6 in the longitudinal direction L. In a crosssection extending in the longitudinal direction L and the stacking direction T, the multilayer ceramic capacitor 1 has, at an end face, a stepped shape in a vicinity of a boundary between the outer layer part 7A and the inner layer part 6.
