Abstract: The present invention relates to a multifunctional essential oil-based candle designed for simultaneous mosquito repellency and aromatherapeutic stress relief in indoor environments. The candle comprises a natural wax base, preferably soy wax, integrated with a synergistic blend of essential oils including clove oil, lemongrass oil, and neem oil for mosquito repellent activity, and lavender oil and chamomile oil for calming and stress-reducing effects. The formulation is optimized to achieve a controlled wax-to-oil ratio, enabling sustained and gradual release of volatile compounds during combustion. The candle further includes stabilizing agents such as tocopherol and structural additives such as stearic acid to enhance performance and shelf-life. Upon burning, the candle generates a protective aromatic barrier that deters mosquitoes while simultaneously creating a soothing and pleasant indoor atmosphere. The invention provides a plant-based, eco-friendly alternative to conventional chemical repellents and standalone aromatherapy candles, offering improved safety, convenience, and dual functionality in a single product.
