MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621055440 A) filed by Bhatt; Deepesh; and Bambharoliya; Krinal Sureshkumar on April 30, 2026, for Multifunctional Cuo Nanoparticle Liquid Nano-Formulation For Plant Growth And Disease Control.
Inventors include Bambharoliya; Krinal Sureshkumar; Bhatt; Deepesh; and Arora; Sandeep.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a multifunctional, stable, liquid nano-formulation comprising copper oxide nanoparticles integrated with plant-derived bioactive components for enhancing plant growth and managing fungal pathogens. The nano-formulation comprises copper oxide nanoparticles (0.05% to 0.2% w/v), pineapple (Ananas comosus) peel extract (14% to 18% w/v), moringa (Moringa oleifera) leaf extract (3% to 5% w/v), neem (Azadirachta indica) leaf extract (0.5% to 1% w/v), reetha (Sapindus mukorossi) extract (0.05% to 0.2% w/v), flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum) mucilage (0.1% to 0.3% w/v), soybean (Glycine max) husk extract (0.5% to 2% w/v), and an aqueous carrier medium (70% to 80% w/v). The nano-formulation functions as a nano-fertilizer and nano-fungicide, exhibiting antifungal activity and inducing systemic acquired resistance through enhanced activity of defense-related enzymes, while maintaining colloidal stability through phytochemical-mediated surface functionalization and bio-polymer-assisted stabilization.
