The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: 12. Abstract A dual-function rotary endodontic file for simultaneous cutting and debris evacuation in root canal therapy is disclosed. The file comprises a nickel-titanium body with helical cutting flutes and an integrated suction channel extending from a distal inlet region to a proximal outlet at the shank. During rotation, debris and irrigation fluids are drawn into the suction channel under negative pressure and collected in a detachable reservoir, thereby reducing apical extrusion and enhancing canal debridement. The structural configuration preserves the flexibility and cutting performance of conventional rotary files while providing continuous irrigation and efficient debris removal during shaping procedures.al
