MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611081819 A) filed by Credenta Technologies Private Limited on July 02, 2026, for Multi-Tier Physiological Trust Architecture For Mobile Authentication Using Calibrated-Weight Trust Score Computation, Intra-Scan Trajectory Classification, Discrete Trust Tier Assignment, And A Structured Dynamic Escalation Ladder.
Inventors include Kumar, Ravit; and Mann, Sakshi.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A multi-tier physiological trust architecture (1000) receives five trust-relevant inputs comprising an attestation path identifier (1002), a composite signal quality index (1004), a manipulation detection outcome (1006), a personalisation confidence metric (1008), and a scan duration adequacy indicator (1010). A trust score engine (1012) computes a continuous trust score as a calibrated weighted sum. An intra-scan trajectory classifier (1026) partitions the measurement session into consecutive windows, obtains a per-window autonomic-state estimate from a five-state Hidden Markov Model, and applies a configurable acute-onset penalty when the within- session trajectory transitions from a low-risk to a high-risk autonomic-state cluster, reclassifying the session into a lower trust tier in real time. A trust tier assignment module (1014) maps the adjusted trust score to discrete trust tiers. A dynamic trust escalation engine (1018) implements a structured escalation ladder. An authentication path selection engine (1020) provides runtime authentication paths.
