Abstract: ABSTRACT Multi-Spectral Imaging System for Detecting Airborne Pollutants in Urban Environments The invention relates to a multi-spectral imaging system for the detection and monitoring of airborne pollutants in urban environments. With the use of advanced optical sensors, this system is able to identify and measure pollutants according to their distinct spectral fingerprints by taking pictures at various wavelengths throughout the electromagnetic spectrum. High-resolution, spatially resolved air quality data is produced by the system's analysis of the recorded spectral data using real-time data processing and machine learning techniques. It may be deployed on cars, drones, or fixed infrastructure with flexibility, providing continuous monitoring and simultaneous detection of several contaminants. The limits of conventional air quality monitoring are addressed by this invention, which offers an affordable, scalable, and all-inclusive solution for pollution mapping, urban air quality management, and regulatory compliance.
