Abstract: Multi-sensor smart device for detecting concealed cheat materials during examinations ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a multi-sensor smart device for detecting concealed cheat materials during examinations. The device integrates heterogeneous sensing modules including electromagnetic, radiofrequency, acoustic, and optical sensors within a portable housing for non-invasive detection of unauthorized materials and electronic devices. A processing unit synchronously acquires sensor signals, performs preprocessing and feature extraction, and applies multi-sensor data fusion to improve detection reliability under varying examination environments. A classification module identifies potential concealed cheat materials based on fused sensor characteristics, while a localization module estimates the position of the detected material relative to an examinee. When a calculated detection probability exceeds a predefined threshold, an alert module generates visual, acoustic, haptic, or wireless notifications for the invigilator. The device thereby enables rapid, automated, and reliable identification of concealed examination-related cheating materials while reducing false detections.
