Abstract: The present invention provides an automated fire detection and suppression system (100) for maritime environments. A multi-sensor fire detection assembly (102) comprising a gas sensor (104), temperature sensor (106) and heat sensor (108) detects an abnormal environmental condition. An image acquisition camera (110) captures an image in response thereto. An embedded controller (112) coordinates a fire classification unit (114) configured to generate fire-category predictions using multiple image-classification models and determine a fire category through hard-voting ensemble. A suppression-selection control unit (116) selects, according to the determined fire category, a water-based suppression unit (120) or an air-assisted chemical suppression unit (122), and a relay switching module (118) physically activates the selected unit. An audible alert unit (124) provides local warning, while a real-time monitoring interface (126) displays environmental parameters, fire status and suppression activity.
