Abstract: Abstract Traffic congestion and ineffective road management have become key issues in contemporary urban transport networks. This work describes a multi-sensor data fusion for real-time traffic monitoring and management system, which combines numerous sensing technologies to better 5 traffic observation and management. The proposed system collects traffic and environmental data using an HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor, IR Obstacle Sensor Module, RCWL-0516 Microwave Radar Sensor, and DHT22 Temperature and Humidity Sensor. An ESP32 DevKit VI microcontroller collects and interprets sensor data, integrating data from several sources to provide precise traffic insights. The processed data is delivered to a remote monitoring center via a 10 SIM800L GSM/GPRS module for continuous observation. The system tracks vehicle presence, traffic density, vehicle count, motion status, temperature, and humidity in real time. By combining several sensors, the system increases monitoring reliability and decreases mistakes caused by individual sensing devices. The suggested approach enables congestion detection, traffic flow analysis, and effective traffic management. It helps to improve road safety, minimise travel delays, 15 and optimise the use of transport infrastructure in smart city settings.
