The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: A multi-point impulse-response apparatus and method for non-destructive assessment of plant leaf health is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a soft-tip actuator that applies controlled, low-force mechanical impulses sequentially at a plurality of pre-defined points on a leaf surface without causing damage, a co-located vibration sensor that captures the resulting response at each point, a signal processing unit that extracts characteristic features including peak amplitude, resonant frequency, and damping coefficient, and an embedded machine-learning classification module that determines the leaf's overall health status – including an estimated hydration/turgor level and indications of disease or structural weakness – in real time, without requiring an external server connection. The invention provides a portable, low-cost, field- deployable alternative to destructive or laboratory-based plant health assessment methods, enabling repeated, non-destructive monitoring of individual leaves directly in agricultural or research settings.
