MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202643108618 A) filed by Shihaan Tech Global Private Limited on September 09, 2026, for Multi-Party Co-Signature Attestation And Ai-Based Pre-Signing Measurement Validation For Hardware-Rooted Cryptographic Attestation Platforms.
Inventor includes Dr. Munmun Das.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: This invention discloses two improvements to the hardware-rooted cryptographic attestation platform of the Applicant's co-pending Application No. 202641041514. The first improvement is a multi-party co-signature attestation mechanism in which a second, independently-registered hardware attestation device — possessing its own sealed, non-extractable private key — signs a measurement payload already signed by a first hardware attestation device, without either device gaining access to the other's private key. A backend independently verifies both signatures against their respective registered public keys and assembles a combined compliance certificate carrying both signatures, both hardware timestamps, both device identities, and a machine-readable designation of each party's role (such as an originating operator and a counter-attesting buyer, auditor, or regulatory counterparty), the hash of which is anchored on a public distributed ledger. The second improvement is a method for validating the plausibility of physical measurement data using a trained statistical or machine-learning model executed before the cryptographic signing event — in the primary embodiment on the paired mobile or desktop computing device, and in an alternative embodiment on an added microcontroller architecturally isolated from the hardware secure element. Payloads found to be anomalous are withheld from signing and flagged with a machine-readable reason code, with provision for a logged operator override, so that implausible measurement data is identified and addressed prior to being permanently and irreversibly attested and blockchain- anchored, rather than being reviewable only afterward. Both improvements operate on and with the unmodified hardware attestation device, secure element, and universal signing flow of the Main Application, and may be deployed independently or in combination to produce a compliance certificate that is both plausibility- validated and dual-attested.
