Abstract: ABSTRACT MULTI-OUTLET DC CHARGING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF A multi-outlet direct-current (DC) charging system (100) is disclosed. The system (100) having a multi-winding galvanic isolation transformer (102) having a plurality of secondary windings (103-n) configured to provide respective isolated AC supplies, a plurality of filter stages (106-n), a plurality of controlled AC-to-DC power conversion units (107-n), a plurality of charging outlets (110-n), and a control and communication interface (111). Each controlled AC-to-DC power conversion unit (107-n) converts filtered AC power from a respective filter stage (106-n) into controlled DC charging power in a single AC-to-DC power-conversion stage. The control and communication interface (111) individually regulates the charging-power level supplied through each charging outlet (110-n) while maintaining aggregate charging power within a system limit. A respective secondary winding (103-n) may provide a first inductive element while the respective filter stage (106-n) provides a second inductive element and a capacitive element of an LCL filtering arrangement, for attenuating harmonic components.
