The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a multimodal Internet of Things (loT) system designed to evaluate workplace ambiance and predict human stress levels. The system employs an edge-processing microcontroller interfaced with an array of sensors, including an MQ135 for air quality, a DHT11 for thermal metrics, an I2S microphone for acoustic variance, an LDR for light intensity, and an RFID module for occupancy tracking. To optimize network efficiency, the apparatus performs continuous local sampling and transmits statistically aggregated summaries at 5-minute intervals. A centralized middleware system logs this telemetry and coordinates an interactive messaging bot to gather synchronized, subjective stress data from occupants. This combined dataset of objective environmental factors and subjective physiological responses is utilized to train a machine learning algorithm, enabling automated, highly accurate predictions of occupational stress without the need for wearable biometric devices.
