Abstract: A multi-mode onion peeling and cutting device, comprising a platform 101 on a fixed surface with a chamber 102 stored with onions to be peeled, a transparent body 103 configured with a motorized lid 104, a telescopically operated gripper 105 assembled on platform 101 for transferring user-defined number of onions from chamber 102 to body 103, a speaker 106 for notifying user to position hands within body 103 through a pair of opening 107 carved with body 103, a laser acuity sensor for detecting dimensions of user’s arm, a pair of robotic arms 108 assembled within body 103 to work in collaboration to peel and cut onion through a knife positioned within body 103, an electronic nozzle 110 paired with a vessel 111 for dispensing water to settle propanethial S-oxide and wash onion and an artificial intelligence- based imaging unit 112 to monitor cutting of onion.
