MUMBAI, India, July 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641087882 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on July 17, 2026, for Multi-Modal Human Presence Verification System.
Inventors include Dr. V. Sivakumar; Prasanna Nk; and Ripan Konar.
The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT MULTI-MODAL HUMAN PRESENCE VERIFICATION SYSTEM A system for verifying human presence in a digital environment comprises a data capture module (10) configured to capture facial image data from a user via an image capture device (12) and capture keystroke data via an input device (14). A feature extraction module (20) extracts facial landmark features from the facial image data and typing dynamics features from the keystroke data. A fusion module (30) combines the facial landmark features and the typing dynamics features into a unified feature vector. A machine learning module (40) processes the unified feature vector and generates a human probability score indicating a likelihood that the user is a human. A verification module (50) compares the human probability score against a threshold and generates a verification output indicating whether the user is verified as human. (Fig. 1)
