MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641111033 A) filed by New Horizon College Of Engineering on September 16, 2026, for Multi-Joint Biomechanical Analysis Based Ai-Driven Bharatiya Natya Mudra Tutoring System.

Inventor includes M. Usha Rani.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: In the present invention, real-time images or videos of a learner performing Bharatiya Natya Mudras are captured through the Image Acquisition and Pre-processing Module (101). The pre-processed images are analyzed by the AI Mudra Recognition and Biomechanical Analysis Module (102) to recognize the Mudra, compare it with an expert reference pose, and identify joint-wise performance deviations. The detected deviations are processed by the Explainable AI Error Diagnosis and Adaptive Tutoring Module (103), which provides personalized visual, textual, and voice-based corrective guidance. The learner's performance is then evaluated by the Performance Evaluation and Mastery Verification Module (104) to determine whether the required mastery criteria are achieved. If mastery is not achieved, the learner receives additional guidance and the process is repeated until successful mastery is attained.
