MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631042536 A) filed by Ipfc-Giet University Cell on April 02, 2026, for Multi-Domain Signal Fusion System For Detecting Crop Stress In Rooftop Agriculture.

Inventor includes B. Vikram Anand.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT MULTI-DOMAIN SIGNAL FUSION SYSTEM FOR DETECTING CROP STRESS IN ROOFTOP AGRICULTURE 5 A multi-domain signal fusion system for detecting crop stress and pest activity in a rooftop agricultural environment includes acoustic sensors (1) configured to detect airborne acoustic emissions, vibration sensors (2) configured to detect mechanical vibrations, and root-zone sensors (3, 4, 5) disposed in a growth medium and configured to generate signals representative of root-zone conditions. A data 10 processing unit (6) preprocesses the signals, and a noise filtering module (9) suppresses environmental disturbances. A fusion engine (7) extracts modality1specific features from the preprocessed signals, computes cross-domain relationships among the modality-specific features, and generates a fused feature representation using adaptive weighting based on environmental conditions and 15 signal reliability. A detection module (8) analyzes the fused feature representation to classify plant stress conditions, identify pest activity, and detect anomalies. [
