MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611083592 A) filed by Punja Vaayushakti Pvt Ltd on July 07, 2026, for Multi-Axis Mechanical Load And Tilt Monitoring System With Threshold- Based Overload Detection And Mechanical Memory.

Inventor includes Prabh Saran Singh Chadha.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a multi-axis mechanical load and tilt monitoring system (200) configured to detect load magnitude, load distribution, structural inclination, imbalance conditions, and overload events in vehicle-mounted support structures. The system comprises a plurality of pressure cylinder rod assemblies (202, 204, 206, and 208) disposed between a top support member (210) and a base support member (214). Each pressure cylinder rod assembly includes a spring load assembly (106), a plurality of threshold engagement pistons (108-1, 108-2, 108-3, and 108-4), corresponding actuators (110-1, 110-2, 110-3, and 110-4), and sensing device (112-1, 112-2, 112-3, and 112-4). The spring load assembly converts an applied load into axial displacement, causing sequential activation of the corresponding sensing devices at predetermined load thresholds. Responses from the plurality of pressure cylinder rod assemblies are utilized to determine load distribution, directional loading, structural tilt, and overload conditions. The system further incorporates a mechanical memory mechanism configured to retain overload-event information after removal of the applied load and without requiring continuous electrical power. The monitoring system is suitable for vertically, horizontally, or angularly oriented support structures in transportation vehicles.
