Abstract: Title: Multi-Axis Capacitive Gravimeter and Gradiometer System Using Suspended Graphene Electrodes The present invention discloses a multi-axis capacitive gravimeter and gradiometer system (100) that utilizes a rigid silicon substrate structured as a polyhedral shell (102) with thirty-two faces, comprising thirty-one capacitive sensing faces and a header face. Each capacitive sensing face incorporates a fixed outer electrode formed of a graphene layer (104) embedded in the silicon substrate (102) and a movable inner electrode comprising a suspended metal plate (107) serving as a proof mass (108) supported by flexures (109) mounted on a base (101). A polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) dielectric (105) fills a capacitive gap (106) between the graphene layer (104) and the metal plate (107). Buried electrical interconnects (103) route signals to the header face. The system performs common-mode signal reconstruction to yield a three-axis non-gravitational acceleration vector and computes short-baseline gravity gradients via differential capacitance between opposite faces.
