Abstract: ABSTRACT The invention relates to an MPPT-based smart residential photovoltaic (PV) power system integrated with panel-wise monitoring, adaptive power regulation, and IoT-based remote supervision for stable operation under mismatch conditions. The system comprises two photovoltaic panels, voltage and current sensing circuits, a microcontroller-based control unit executing maximum power point tracking (MPPT), a PWM-controlled DC–DC buck-boost converter, a battery storage unit, an inverter, a local display, and an IoT communication module. The system continuously monitors individual panel performance and computes real-time electrical parameters to detect variations caused by shading and irradiance changes. Based on MPPT computation, the microcontroller dynamically adjusts converter operation to maintain a stable DC output. The regulated power is stored and converted to AC for residential use. Additionally, real-time operational data is displayed locally and transmitted via IoT for remote monitoring. The invention ensures improved efficiency, reliability, and transparency in residential photovoltaic energy systems under varying environmental conditions.
