Abstract: The present invention provides a mounting system (200) for removably mounting at least one gaseous fuel cylinder (151,152) on a vehicle (100). The mounting system (200) comprises a first base member (208) that removably attaches to a mounting plate (250) mounted on at least one of a seat rails (16,18) of the vehicle (100). The mounting system (200) also comprises a first arm (202) extending downward and in a lengthwise direction from the first base member (208). The first arm (202) adapted to be disposed in a first side of the vehicle (100) on being attached to the mounting plate (250). Also, one or more holding provisions (214, 218, 222) provided on the first arm (202), the one or more holding provisions (214, 218, 222) adapted to receive the at least one gaseous fuel cylinder (151,152).
