Abstract: A mountable cup holding device , comprises of an elongated frame 101 positioned in contact with shaft of an umbrella and configured with a circular plate 102 via a link 103, for accommodating a cup, a computing unit installed with a user-interface 104 enables a user to give input commands, a primary C-shaped motorized expandable clamp 105 expand and grip the shaft for securing frame 101 with shaft, an expandable pulley arrangement 201 increases diameter of plate for appropriately accommodating cup on plate, an imaging unit 106 detects top portion of cup and diameter of cup, a secondary C-shaped motorized expandable clamp 105 expand and grip top portion of cup as per dimensions of cup, a flap 107 installed with plate via a telescopically operated rod 108 which extend, a motorized hinge 109 tilts and deploys flap 107 to cover mouth portion of cup.
