The stator coil 23 includes: a plurality of first coil segments 33 each of which penetrates the stator core 21 and includes a first tip end portion 41 protruding from the another end face 21e; and a plurality of second coil segments 35 each of which has a U-shape and is embedded in the first mold member 51. The first coil segments 33 and the second coil segments 35 are connected by inserting the first tip end portions 41 into opposite end portions 47, 48 of the second coil segments 35.
