Abstract: The present invention discloses a motor-on-drum brake (100) with a clevis type collapsing assembly (106), comprising: a drum brake assembly (101); a backplate (102) with an integral cable guide plate (102c), an actuator bracket (103), an electronic parking brake actuator (104) with an integral parking brake cable (104a); a handbrake lever (105); a plurality of fasteners (107, 108), and a trailing shoe (109). The clevis type collapsing assembly (106) comprises a clevis (106a) provided with a clevis slot (106b) and a collapsing screw (106c). The electronic parking brake actuator (104) is configured to pull the parking brake cable (104a) connected to a first end of the clevis (106a) which transmits force to the handbrake lever (105) connected to a second end of the clevis (106a) through the collapsing screw (106c) inserted into the clevis slot (106b) to apply braking force to the trailing shoe (109), thus engaging the parking brake.
