Abstract: The present invention relates to an herbal gel formulation for the treatment and management of oraLulcers. The formulation comprises an ethanolic extract of Moringa oleifera flowers incorporated into a biocompatible Carbopol 934 gel base suitable for topical intraoral application. The extract contains bioactive phytoconstituents including flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, and polyphenols, which impart antioxidant, antiinflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. The formulation includes pharmaceutically acceptable excipients to ensure suitable viscosity, stability, spreadability, and oralcompatible pH (6.0-7,0). In vitro evaluation confirms significant antioxidant activity, antiinflammatory efficacy comparable to diclofenac, and potent antimicrobial action against Streptococcus mutans and Candida albicans. The composition enables localized delivery of active constituents at the ulcer site, reducing inflammation, controlling microbial growth, and promoting mucosal healing. The invention provides a safe, natural, and effective alternative to conventional synthetic oral ulcer treatments and is suitable for routine clinical application.as claim
