MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631106989 A) filed by Balaji Rotomoulders Private Limited on September 05, 2026, for Monolithic High Molecule Polyethylene (pe) Nano-Compound Integrated With Multi-Minerals.
Inventor includes Hemant Jain.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: A polymer nano-composite composition comprising a polyethylene matrix, an alpha-olefin copolymer, an antioxidant stabilization package, and a bio-active inorganic nano-matrix is disclosed. The bio-active inorganic nano-matrix comprises silver, zinc oxide, copper, calcium, and magnesium, uniformly dispersed and monolithically integrated within the polyethylene matrix to provide enhanced environmental stress-crack resistance, antimicrobial activity, anti-algal activity, and controlled mineral ion release. A method (200) of manufacturing the composition comprises providing (202) a polyethylene resin, providing (204) the alpha-olefin copolymer, providing (206) the antioxidant stabilization package, providing (208) the bio-active inorganic nano-matrix, dry blending (210), feeding the blend into a twin-screw compounding extruder (212), melt compounding (214), extruding (216), cooling (218), and pelletizing (220) to obtain polymer nano-composite pellets. The composition is suitable for manufacturing moulded polymer articles exhibiting durable functional performance for potable water and other fluid-contacting applications.
