Abstract: Abstract A Single-Phase Paracetamol/Acetaminophen Syrup Composition and Process for Preparation Thereof The present invention relates to a single-phase liquid pharmaceutical composition comprising paracetamol (acetaminophen) in an amount of 2.0% to 3.0% w/v, citric acid in an amount of 0.05% to 0.10% w/v, and demineralized water as a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle in quantity sufficient to make up the volume. The composition is formulated as a clear monolayer syrup suitable for oral administration. The controlled pH environment provided by citric acid enhances stability of the active pharmaceutical ingredient while enabling formation of a homogeneous single-phase system. The composition provides a therapeutically effective dose of paracetamol in a liquid form with improved clarity and uniformity compared to conventional biphasic suspensions. Fig. 1
