Abstract: ABSTRACT MONOCULAR DYNAMIC NOVEL VIEW SYNTHESIS AND VOLUMETRIC SCENE ANALYSIS ENGINE FOR SPORTS ANALYSIS A system (200) for generating a dynamic three-dimensional scene 5 of a subject is disclosed. The system (200) comprises a processor (202) and a scene reconstruction engine (220) coupled to the processor (202). The scene reconstruction engine (220) retrieves image data and depth data from a live image captured by a depth-sensing camera at a single viewpoint. The live image comprises a plurality of frames capturing a subject performing a 10 movement. The scene reconstruction engine (220) retrieves a static 3D model corresponding to the subject. The static 3D model comprises a plurality of spatial elements, each associated with one or more parameters defining a spatial density distribution. The scene reconstruction engine (220) inputs the image data and the depth data into a pre-trained deformation model (232) 15 to predict a displacement value for each spatial element of the static 3D model. Based on the predicted displacement value, the analysis engine (220) generates a dynamic 3D scene representing the subject in a current pose. 20
