Abstract: A monitoring device for Alzheimer patients, comprising body 101 positioned over wrist of user having Alzheimer, straps 102 attached with lateral sides of body 101 wrapped around wrist by means of pneumatic lock 103, imaging unit 104 installed over body 101 for capturing and processing images of wrist to determine dimensions of wrist and accordingly actuates motorized hinge joints 105 integrated with each strap 102 to regulate shape of straps 102, GPS (Global Positioning System) module integrated with microcontroller to monitor real time location of user, touch interactive display panel 106 installed over body 101 to guide user to reach home/medical facility, FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating) and Electro dermal activity (EDA) sensors 108 integrated with body 101 to monitor vital health parameters and skin conductance of user and microphone 109 is mapped over body 101 to receive voice command of user regarding assistance in reaching location.
