If it is determined, in a corresponding determination step (115), that the requested information or at least a part thereof is to be provided to the data consumer, a step of providing (125) the same to the data consumer or of providing the data consumer, via the digital twin, with access to the same follows. The presented method allows for a sustainable textile value chain.
