Abstract: ABSTRACT: Modular Vector-Controlled Electrohydrodynamic Thermal Engine with Predictive Electrode Regeneration This invention describes a modular electrohydrodynamic thermal management system configured to provide silent, vibration-free cooling for compact high-density electronic systems without mechanical moving components. The system utilizes segmented micro-emitter ionization to generate localized ion populations, which are progressively accelerated through a multi-stage electric field structure to induce airflow. Spatial vector control enables dynamic steering of the generated airflow toward thermally critical regions, while a convergent electrostatic compression configuration enhances airflow density and cooling effectiveness. A distributed sensing framework, in conjunction with an intelligent predictive control mechanism, regulates airflow generation and direction based on real- time and anticipated thermal conditions. The system further incorporates a self-regenerative operational mechanism configured to maintain performance stability by mitigating efficiency degradation over extended use. The modular architecture enables scalable deployment across diverse system configurations, providing adaptive, energy-efficient, and maintenance-minimized thermal management suitable for robotics, embedded electronics, aerospace systems, and high-performance computing applications.
