Abstract: A modular sponge storage device, comprising a frame installed on a fixed surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 monitors presence of a sponge held by a user, an infrared sensor monitors type of the sponge, a non-contact moisture sensor for monitoring moisture level of the sponge, a telescopically operated L-shaped to position a plate 105 near to the frame, an extendable pusher 106 to extract water from the sponge, multiple sections 108 for storing a specific type of sponge in each sections 108, a motorized iris lid 109 to open and allow the user to store the sponge, a meshed fabric 201 to enable dripping of remaining water of the sponge over a tray, a level sensor monitors level of the stored water, an air blower 110 blows air towards the stored sponges for drying the sponge.
