Abstract: The present invention relates to a modular smart bag system integrating portable power, personal safety, and secure storage within a single carrying article. The system comprises a bag body, a rechargeable battery module, a battery management system, wired and wireless charging interfaces, an electronic control unit, and an emergency signalling system. The battery management system provides charging regulation, thermal monitoring, and protection against over-current, over-voltage, over-discharge, and short circuits. The charging interfaces include USB Type-A, USB Type-C, integrated charging cables, and a Qi-compatible wireless charging module for charging portable electronic devices. The emergency signalling system includes LED illumination assemblies and an audible alarm activated through a concealed switch. In selected embodiments, the system further comprises a removable battery with a spring-assisted ejection mechanism and secure compartments with mechanical or electronic locking mechanisms. The invention is applicable to smart clutch bags, handbags, backpacks, and trolley luggage, providing improved convenience, safety, portability, and travel compliance.
