MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531029426 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan Deemed To Be University on March 27, 2025, for Modular Seating Assistive Device For Swing.

Abstract: A modular seating assistive device for swing, comprises of a L-shaped frame 101 having a first section 102 installed with an electromagnetic clamp 103, that is engaged with hook attached with an auxiliary chain of a swing, to secure the frame 101 with the swing, a speaker 104 installed on the frame 101 to generate audible instructions to notify the user to access, multiple straps 105 each having a buckle, installed on the frame 101 to secure the straps 105 over torso and waist, by means of the buckle, an imaging unit 106 installed on the frame 101 to capture images of the user, a motorized roller 107 equipped with each the straps 105, to rotate for tightening/loosening the straps 105, a pair of arms rests 108 installed on sides of the second section 115, to acquire grip on the arm rests 108 during swinging motion.
