MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611081583 A) filed by Rajesh Kalyani on July 02, 2026, for Modular Precast Sanitary Enclosure And Method Of Manufacturing And Assembly.
Inventor includes Rajesh Kalyani.
The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a highly durable, hygienic, and rapidly installable modular precast sanitary enclosure and its associated manufacturing and assembly methods. The enclosure features seamless walls and a floor base engineered either as a single monolithic unit or as a high-precision multi-piece interlocking panel set that creates a unified, single-structure appearance after assembly. The core feature of the design is the complete elimination of conventional right-angled 90-degree internal joints and traditional tile installations. All internal floor-to-wall and wall-to-wall intersections are configured as continuous, concave curved transitions that form a highly cleanable bowl-like floor basin. The floor basin also includes factory-molded, pre-calibrated slopes directed toward a drainage point to completely prevent standing water or fluid accumulation. The walls come equipped with pre- formed structural cutouts and channels for direct integration of plumbing lines, faucets, doors, and sanitary utilities (such as toilet seats, basins, or urinals). The invention minimizes on-site civil works, eliminates leakage paths and tile uprooting, and is highly suited for rapid mass production and installation across public and domestic environments.
