MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511016407 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 25, 2025, for Modular Maneuvering Assistive Device For Deflated/ Punctured Two-Wheeler Vehicles.

Abstract: A modular maneuvering assistive device for deflated/ punctured two-wheeler vehicles, comprising a rectangular body 101 having a first and second portion positioned over ground surface, an imaging unit 104 installed over body 101 determine two-wheeler vehicle presence near body 101, a LiDAR sensor detect vehicle’s deflated/punctured wheel thickness, a motorized drawer arrangement 105 configured within first and second portion 103 to securely accommodate wheel over body 101, a pair of motorized hinge joints 106 configured on first and second portion deploy a flap 107 attached with hinge joints 106 towards wheel for securing wheel over body 101 from front and rear portions, a pair of L-shaped hydraulically operated rods 108 assembled on first portion 102 grip and lock rim portion of wheel via an electromagnetic locking unit 109 arranged on rod tip portion, multiple motorized wheels 110 arranged underneath each portion of body 101 rotate for smooth movement of vehicle.
