Abstract: A modular leafy vegetable bundling device, comprising a frame 101 positioned on a fixed surface and having a horizontal strip 102 accessed by a user for accommodating a bundle of leafy vegetable stalks on strip 102, an imaging unit 103 installed on frame 101 determine positioning of stalks on strip 102, a sensing unit determine quality of vegetable stalks, a laser emitter 104 emit laser light on spoiled portion of vegetable to guide user to separate spoiled portion from stalks, a pair of bars 105 arranged on lateral sides of frame 101 via a motorized sliding unit 106 to translate bars 105 towards center portion of strip 102 for compacting stalks to form a bundle of vegetable stalks, a motorized roller 107 uncoil a string, a motorized gripper 108 integrated with a blade 109 cut the string for allowing user to tie knot to bundle vegetable stalks.
