MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621101383 A) filed by Jeetendra Kochar; and Astha Kochar on August 21, 2026, for Modular Inflatable Air-Beam Barrier System.
Inventors include Jeetendra Kochar; and Astha Kochar.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: MODULAR INFLATABLE AIR-BEAM BARRIER SYSTEM The present invention relates to an inflatable barrier system (100) for temporary crowd management and area control and comprises one or more inflatable air-beam modules (110), each having an air-beam module of different geometrical shapes and sizes (110) in various combinations. Each air beam has an inflatable chamber (120) bounded by a singular layer or a multi-layered wall comprising an inner pressure-retaining layer (122), a reinforcement layer (124), and an outer protective layer (126). A base assembly (140) provides ground-engaging support, a carrying handle (190) facilitates manual transport, and an anchoring interface (160) permits selective external restraint. A plurality of modules (110) may be joined by connector assemblies (150) into various geometrical shapes including but not limited to L-shaped, M-shaped or zigzag, or extended connected configurations. An inflation valve (130) permits inflation of the inflatable chamber (120). Reflective elements (170) and an illumination light system (182) may improve visibility. The system (100) is reusable over repeated inflation- deflation cycles and may be reconfigured into different connected planforms using a common set of modules (110). FIG. 1.
