Abstract: A modular ice preparation device, comprising of a frame 101 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, the frame 101 is integrated with a plate 102 for supporting the frame 101 on the surface, a touch interactive display panel 103 arranged on the frame 101 that is accessed by a user for selecting a user-desired shape of ice required by the user, a flexible tray 104 integrated with multiple sections 105, multiple extendable blocks to extend/retract for attaining the user-desired shape of the section, an ultrasonic sensor integrated on the frame 101 for monitoring dimensions of the blocks extended/retracted to ensure formation of the user-desired pattern in the sections 105, a tactile sensor for determining freezing state of water in each of the sections 105, a motorized hinges 111 for deploying a lid 106 to cover the sections 105 in which water is not freeze completely.
