Abstract: A modular handgrip device for vehicles, comprising a pair of C-shaped frames 101 developed to be attached on an elongated support on a moving vehicle, a motorized hinge joint 102 integrated in between the frames 101 to provide converging/diverging movement to the frames 101, an electromagnet 103 is arranged on ends of the frames 101 for engaging the frames 101 around the support in a secured manner, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 installed on the frame to detect presence of a user in proximity to the support, a motorized roller coiled with a looped strap, arranged beneath the frames 101 for unwrapping or wrapping the strap, a handle 106 is attached within the strap that is accessed by the user to grip the secured frames 101 and a UV lamp assembled on the frame for projecting ultraviolet rays on the handle 106 for sterilizing the handle 106.
