The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a modular bioreceptive concrete panel for sustainable building and environmental applications. The panel comprises a structural concrete substrate, a bamboo reinforcement framework, a bioreceptive surface layer having interconnected pores and vegetation anchorage cavities, a moisture-retention layer, drainage channels, and an environmental monitoring module comprising carbon dioxide and temperature sensors. The bioreceptive surface supports moss colonization while the moisture-retention layer stores and gradually releases water to sustain biological growth. The drainage channels regulate moisture movement and prevent waterlogging. The bamboo reinforcement improves structural performance with reduced embodied carbon. During operation, moss growth on the panel absorbs atmospheric carbon dioxide, captures particulate matter, and provides passive cooling through evapotranspiration. The environmental monitoring module continuously measures air-quality and thermal parameters. The invention provides a modular, scalable, and sustainable construction component suitable for green buildings, façades, retaining walls, bridge structures, and urban infrastructure.
