MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641124002 A) filed by Sr University on October 16, 2026, for Modular Balance-Assistance Device And Method Of Operation Thereof.

Inventor includes Sreedhar Kollem.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: MODULAR BALANCE-ASSISTANCE DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF ABSTRACT A modular balance-assistance device (100) is disclosed. The device (100) comprising a mounting assembly (102) adapted to detachably couple to a frame (202) of a two-wheeled vehicle (200). The mounting assembly (102) comprises a flywheel (104), a motor (106) coupled to the flywheel (104), a gimbal assembly (108) coupled to the mounting assembly (102) and supporting the flywheel (104), an inertial measurement unit (110) and a tilt sensor (112). The device (100) is configured to receive and process the orientation and acceleration data and the tilt condition from the inertial measurement unit (110) and the tilt sensor (112), respectively, determine a corrective gyroscopic action, generate a first control output and a second control output, and control the motor (106) and the gimbal assembly (108) using the first control output and the second control output to generate a corrective gyroscopic torque. Claims: 10, Figures: 5 Figure 1A is selected.
