Abstract: A modular ash tray comprises of a hemispherical body 101 positioned on a fixed surface and developed to collect ash on a cigarette, mouth portion of the body 101 is initially covered with a circular lid 102, a user-interface inbuilt in a computing unit wirelessly associated with ash tray for enabling a user to give input commands for opening lid 102, a motorized hinge 103 configured with lid 102 for tilting lid 102 away from mouth portion of body 101, an anemometer 104 installed on body 101 for detecting wind speed in surroundings, electronic sprinklers 105 installed at inner periphery on body 101 and connected with a water chamber 106 for sprinkling water, a smoke sensor arranged within the body 101 for detecting presence of smoke from a cigarette butt placed within the body 101.
