Abstract: Abstract The historic Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Bridge is an important transportation structure as well as a valuable part of engineering heritage. With increasing traffic demand, environmental effects, and aging construction materials, the bridge requires continuous assessment and modernization to ensure safety, durability, and serviceability. This study focuses on the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Autodesk Revit and structural analysis using MIDAS Civil for effective bridge rehabilitation and maintenance. BIM technology is used to create an accurate 3D digital model of the bridge, which helps in damage detection, documentation, maintenance planning, and data management. Structural analysis through MIDAS Civil evaluates the bridge performance under dead load, live load, wind load, and seismic conditions to identify critical stress zones and structural deficiencies. The integration of BIM and advanced finite element analysis improves accuracy, reduces design errors, enhances visualization, and supports better decision-making during rehabilitation work. This modern approach not only increases structural safety and operational efficiency but also helps in preserving the historical significance of the bridge for future generations.
