Abstract: A mobility assistive device, comprises of a platform 101 developed to be positioned on a ground surface and configured with plurality of motorized wheels 102, a handle 103 installed by means of a telescopic rod 104 to extend/retract as per user’s height detected by an ultrasonic sensor, a touch interactive display panel 105 for enabling a user to provide input specifications regarding a user-desired location, a GPS module for determining a navigation route, an imaging unit 106 for capturing and processing images of surroundings, an accelerometer-based vibration sensor to detect surface roughness, a weather sensing module to detect weather conditions, a canopy 107 arranged via a telescopic bar 108 to get deployed over user, a motion detection sensor in sync with imaging unit 106 to visually capture any unusual or unauthorized movement and a digital locking unit to lock wheels 102 to prevent motion of platform 101.
