The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: A mobile wireless sensor network system for dynamic cluster head selection and routing, comprising a plurality of mobile sensor nodes 101 to sense and communicate network information, a state representation module 102 to construct an observation vector at each decision epoch, an observation buffer 103 to maintain a sequence of observation vectors, a reinforcement learning-based policy module 104 comprising an LSTM encoder and a variational information bottleneck layer configured to generate a compressed latent representation, a cluster head selection head and a routing selection head to generate respective probability distributions for cluster head election and next-hop routing, a learning module 105 to train parameters of the LSTM encoder and the variational information bottleneck layer using a reinforcement learning objective and a Kullback-Leibler divergence term between a latent Gaussian distribution and a predefined prior distribution, and a method for cluster head selection and routing in a mobile wireless sensor network.
